Today we see the launch of the brand-new 2023 Hyundai Palisade. We are fortunate to have the Palisade on the showroom floor at Ferntree Gully Hyundai, for customers to test drive and make the decision on purchasing. This is Hyundai’s largest and most spacious flagship 8-seat SUV ever. The new Palisade was designed to have everything that your family wants and needs in a vehicle. The 2023 Palisade comes in flexible seven or eight-seat configurations so there is room to move the family around and even grow it. First Class Safety Features
First and foremost, the 2023 Palisade has a 5-Star ANCAP safety rating. This 5-Star family safety rating is because of the 7 airbags including a new front row centre airbag as well as the leading safety technology that is Hyundai SmartSense. These features are; Rear Parking Collision Avoidance Assist and Forward Collision Avoidance Assist with Junction Turning.
Part of Hyundai SmartSense to help keep you safe is the Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance-Assist and Blind-Spot View Monitor that give you a second set of eyes. The sensors alert you visually and audibly if there is a car in the blind spot. When indicating the car will show the vision of that blind spot on the dash in front of you. Helping to keep your eyes focused on the road.
The avoidance of collisions is prominent in the safety features of the Palisade. Lane Keeping Assist and Lane Following Assist help keep your Palisade on track when there is the detection of drifting into the next lane without indicating, a warning will sound and in extreme cases, the vehicle will straighten itself.
As well as a Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist that will display reverse lines, alert of rear vehicles approaching and even brake assist if necessary.

Hyundai's New Bluelink
The next evolution of a supper-connection lifestyle is here with the introduction of the Bluelink app that puts the future at your fingertips. Whether you forgot where you parked, pre-loading the Sat-Nav for a trip or mechanical updates. The app conveniently connects to the Palisade that gives you access to a range of controls and functions making owning a Palisade more rewarding and convenient than ever!
Added Tech
This is the very first for Hyundai, a Digital Centre Mirror. Whether the car is fully loaded with cargo or passengers, you will have clear vision out the rear with a full-display rear-view mirror.
And now with 360-degree high-resolution cameras, you will be able to have a 3D bird’s eye view of your Palisade when parking. This will display on the 12.3″ multimedia touchscreen.
This bit of kit is available on the Highlander variant only. It’s called, Remote Smart Park Assist. If your Palisade has been ‘parked in’, stand nearby your vehicle and press activate this feature from your smart key. The Palisade will drive itself straight out of the tight spot for you to hop in. This also works in reverse, if you need to drive your Palisade into tight spots.
The 2023 Hyundai Palisade comes in two variants, Highlander and Elite. Each model can be configured in 7 or 8 seats, FWD or AWD and petrol or diesel, so there is something fit for every family and their needs. With much more space, more luxury and more innovation, you can comfortably take your family anywhere. The Palisade comes in an 8-speed automatic transmission across all models, with the knob on the centre console you can select different Drive Modes like Comfort, Eco, Sport and Smart as well as put the vehicle into Multi-Terrain Mode for Sand, Snow and Mud. Oh, and with a braked towing capacity of 2,200kg, there are no limitations on where you can take the family with this vehicle.
